Automations are tasks or functions that are compiled and configured to efficiently execute actions based on triggers and conditions. Automations both increase productivity by executing more actions and save time by reducing user intervention.
How Are Automations Used?
Automations are used as support tools to increase efficiency. By automating routine tasks, users can take advantage of time gained and maximize their efforts by making more calls, sending emails or sending SMS.
Automation example: If a call disposition requires creating a calendar event, and sending an email to the contact, automations can quickly do this. After pressing the call disposition button, the automation can be configured to create a calendar event and email the contact. Three for the price of one!
