Feature Overview:
Call Tools now allows you to assign a static Caller ID to individual contacts. Once assigned, any future calls to that contact will always use the same Caller ID. This feature is ideal for maintaining consistency when calling clients who were told to "save this number" or for contacts with scheduled callbacks or appointments.

How to Set Up Static Caller ID Assignment
1. Create a New Automation

Navigate to Data > Automations.

Click Create Automation or select an existing one.
Example Setup:

Automation Name: Personalized Phone Number

Trigger: Call Disposition
-
Condition: Select a specific disposition, e.g., Appointment Set.
This ensures the static Caller ID is only assigned after a successful event like setting an appointment.
2. Add an Automation Action

Within your automation, click Add Action.

Select Personalize.

Fill out the form as follows:

Name: Use Connected Caller ID

Check the box: Use call caller ID

What This Does:
✅ Assigns the last connected outbound Caller ID to the contact for all future outbound calls.
✅ For inbound calls, it uses the dialed Caller ID as the future default.
3. Important Notes About Campaigns
If you're dialing through a campaign, Caller ID rotation may still apply unless you override the contact level Caller ID settings.

To override the static Caller ID:

Go to your campaign’s Caller ID Strategy.

Check the box: "Override Contact Level Caller ID Settings".

This ensures campaigns will continue to rotate Caller IDs even if a static Caller ID was previously assigned.
