Our platform uses SendGrid to deliver outbound emails. To ensure your messages reach inboxes reliably (and don’t get blocked or flagged as spam), your domain must be correctly authenticated. This requires setting up SPF and DKIM records in your domain’s DNS settings.
Why This Matters
Email providers (like Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.) check SPF and DKIM records to verify that your emails are legitimate and authorized to be sent from your domain. Without these records:
Emails may fail to deliver
Messages may land in spam/junk folders
Your sending reputation could be negatively impacted
Step 1 – Add SPF Record for SendGrid
Go to your domain registrar or DNS host (where your domain’s DNS records are managed).
-
Locate your existing SPF record. It usually looks like:
v=spf1 include:someprovider.com ~all -
Add SendGrid’s information to your SPF record. It should include:
include:sendgrid.netExample final SPF record:
v=spf1 include:sendgrid.net include:your-other-services.com ~all Save your changes.

Step 2 – Provide Us Your Sending Domain
Once your SPF record is added, please let our support team know the domain name you’ll be sending emails from (e.g., yourcompany.com).
We’ll then generate your DKIM records for you.
Step 3 – Add DKIM Records
Our team will provide you with DKIM records unique to your domain.
Log back into your domain registrar or DNS host.
Add the DKIM records exactly as provided.
Save your changes.

Important Notes
DNS changes (SPF/DKIM) may take up to 48–72 hours to fully propagate across the internet.
If you have an IT administrator, we recommend sharing these instructions with them for a faster setup.
Once SPF and DKIM are properly configured, your email deliverability will improve, and your messages will be verified as coming from your domain.
