Caller ID groups are custom groupings of caller IDs that display stats for cumulative and daily use along with other attributes. Groups are essential for targeting contacts, which are beneficial when used in conjunction with caller ID strategies.
Go to: PBX > Caller ID Groups
Click Create Caller ID Group to begin.
Enter a Caller ID Group Name. Create a name for the group.
After creating the caller ID group, you're directed the page that adds caller IDs to the group.
Add Caller IDs to Group
This page shows the available caller IDs that may be added to the group:

On the left side of the caller ID table, click the check box to select the caller ID.

After selecting, a blue bar appears at the bottom of the page. Click + Add Caller ID from Group to add the caller ID to the group.

Multiple caller IDs can be added by selecting as many check boxes as needed.
When a check box is selected, the same blue bar appears at the bottom of the page, however the option is to remove the caller ID from the group:

Click Remove Caller ID from Group to remove from the group.

Multiple caller IDs may be selected to be removed.
Under the Caller IDs in Group page title is This Caller ID Group has (_) Caller IDs Assigned, Add New Caller IDs. Click the Add New Caller IDs link to return to the previous Add Caller IDs to Group page.
Search Bar and Filter Options
Both Add Caller IDs to Group and Caller IDs in Group pages have a search bar and filter options feature.
Search. This feature allows for caller ID searches by entering the caller ID phone number (no dashes)

Example: If my caller ID is 8001231223, the full number can be entered.

You can also search a part of it, let's say 800, and all of the numbers with that numeric sequence within the phone number will populate - example: 8771238001 and 8001231223
Filter Options. This feature searches caller IDs based on certain conditions.

Phone Number. Enter a full phone number (no partial numbers).

State. Select a state from the drop down menu.

Area Code. Enter an area code.

Calls (Min - Max). Enter a total number of calls that has been placed with a caller ID. Enter a minimum and maximum numeric value. Or, one entry may have a value and the other entry left blank/empty. For example, MIN=50 and MAX=BLANK or vice-versa.

Calls Today (Min - Max). Enter a number of calls that has been placed with a caller ID for today. Enter a minimum and maximum numeric value. Or, one entry may have a value and the other entry left blank/empty. For example, MIN=50 and MAX=BLANK or vice-versa.

SMS Enabled. This feature searches caller IDs that are sms-enabled. From the drop down menu, select True or False.

SMS Sent (Min - Max). Enter a total number of sms that has been placed with a caller ID. Enter a minimum and maximum numeric value. Or, one entry may have a value and the other entry left blank/empty. For example, MIN=50 and MAX=BLANK or vice-versa.

SMS Sent Today (Min - Max): Enter a number of sms that has been placed with a caller ID for today. Enter a minimum and maximum numeric value. Or, one entry may have a value and the other entry left blank/empty. For example, MIN=50 and MAX=BLANK or vice-versa.

Campaign Enabled. This feature searches caller IDs that are campaign enabled. To verify if a caller ID is campaign enabled, go to the Caller IDs page > Edit > Campaign Enabled. From the drop down menu, select True or False.

Has Negative Reputation. This feature searches caller IDs that have a negative reputation (i.e. "flagged"). From the drop down menu, select True or False.

CNAM (Caller ID Name). If a caller ID has been created with a CNAM, enter its CNAM to search.
After the desired filter entries are complete, click Filter Results to run the query.
Main Caller ID Groups Page
After a group has been created, it's shown on the main Caller ID Groups page along with links to view stats and for group editing/deleting.
So far, we covered the Add Caller IDs to Group and View & Remove Caller IDs (Caller IDs in Group) pages.
Group Size. This main page column displays the caller ID count for the group.
View Stats. Click the View Stats link to enter to the page. This pop up window breaks down the groups daily use stats by state, area code, group total.

State Breakdown. Click on State Breakdown to expand the table.

Click on a state to expand state's stats. The Count displays the number of caller IDs within the state.

After expanding the state section, the Area Code Breakdown section is displayed. The Count displays the number of caller IDs within the area code. Click on any area code to expand the area code's stats.

The individual state and area code stats are daily stats only. See below.
• Total Stats. This section displays the combined daily total dials for the caller ID group. See below.
Click the X on the top-right corner of the window to exit.
Delete. On the main Caller ID Groups page, under the Controls column, click Delete to delete this group.
Conclusion
Caller ID Groups is a useful contact management feature. It helps to keep a close eye on caller ID use, which is crucial for caller ID reputation.
