Our platform has ability to display a contact's phone number Federal Do Not Contact (FDNC) standing. For example, if a number is on the FDNC, the green "FDNC" icon is highlighted with a check mark.
The contact form's "All Phone Number FDNC" feature indicates whether all of the contact's phone numbers are on the FDNC. If they're all on the FDNC, this feature is displayed as enabled/true/on.
Go to: Data > Contacts > select a contact and click View/Edit Contact to open the contact form.
"All Phone Number FDNC" Contact Field
- Location: On the "Edit Contact" form, under "Contact Details," scroll down to the bottom of the form. It's the last field displayed.
- True/False Indicator:
- If set to "True/On" the contact is recognized as having all of their numbers on the FDNC.
- If set to "False/Off," the contact's phone numbers are not all on the FDNC.
Criteria for a "All Phone Numbers FDNC" to Be True/On
- Single Phone Number:
If a contact has only one phone number and it's on the FDNC, the field is set to "True/On." - Multiple Phone Numbers (All Listed):
If a contact has multiple phone numbers and they're all on the FDNC, the field is set to "True/On."
Criteria for "A' Phone Numbers FDNC" to Be False/Off
- Multiple Phone Numbers (Not All Listed):
If a contact has multiple phone numbers, but not all are on the FDNC, the field is set to "False/Off." - Change in Phone Numbers:
If a contact initially has a number listed on the FDNC and later adds another non-FDNC phone number, the "All Phone Numbers FDNC" field will automatically change to "False/Off."
Dialing
Even if a contact’s numbers are all on the FDNC, dialing can still occur if specific settings are not enabled, such as:
- Campaign Suppression Option - "Suppress Federal Do Not Call"
- Live Filter - "Filter FDNC Numbers Flag"
- Account Settings - "FDNC Suppress"
Without these settings being activated, the system will allow the contact to be dialed.
Conclusion
For a contact to be marked as "True/On" for "All Phone Numbers FDNC," all phone numbers associated with the contact must be listed on the FDNC. The feature's toggle switch cannot be manually changed on the frontend due to its backend processing. However, the actual suppression of depends on the its settings.
