Floor Plans are a customizable visual representation of an office or call center set up, displaying agents and their statuses.
Go to: Reports > Floor Plans
Click Create New to begin.
From the pop-up window, create a name for the floor plan.
Click Save to finish.
After the floor plan has been created, you're then directed to the floor plan grid. This page allows you to add, remove and arrange agents as you see fit. They can be physical representations, or arranged as teams, or departments, etc.
Simply drag and drop users from the left pane and on to the grid. You can also remove them by clicking the X on the upper right corner. This page auto-saves any arrangement on the grid.
Agent Statuses
This page displays agent statuses in real time. For example, if an agent is logged in and set to "Available," it's displayed on the floor plan.
Click Back to Floor Plans to return to the main floor plans page.
Additional floor plans can be created for multiple locations or floors within a building.
On the main page, click View to view the floor plan in full display without the edit user pane.
Conclusion
This simple feature is helpful for users that have groups of any size to manage. It provides the ability to quickly see agent activity based on statuses. This is not only helpful for in-house users, but remote users as well.
