In our last article, Campaigns Part 6, we covered suppressing numbers that are on the Federal Do Not Call registry and suppressing mobile numbers. This article moves along the campaign settings page into "Calling Options."
Calling Options Section
Caller ID Strategy. This feature is a collection of settings that determine how the campaign will select a caller ID for each contact. From the drop-down menu, select a caller ID strategy to assign it to the campaign.
- Click the plus sign to create a new caller ID strategy. Click the pencil to edit an existing caller ID strategy.
Transfer Caller ID. This feature provides the option to display the contact's caller ID or the agent's caller ID during a transfer.
Channels Per Agent. When "Auto Originate Calls" is enabled, and "Auto Pilot" disabled, this feature allows for a set number of channels (phone numbers) to be dialed for every available agent logged into the campaign. For example:
- 3 channels per agent + 1 available agent = 3 total phone numbers are being dialed.
- 3 channels per agent + 2 available agents = 6 total phone numbers are being dialed.
- 5 channels per agent + 5 available agents = 25 total phone numbers are being dialed.
Restrict Transfers. When enabled, this feature restricts transfers to only speed dial numbers. It will not allow agents to dial any number or extension for this campaign.
