In our last article, Campaigns Part 7, we covered calling options such as selecting a caller ID strategy, selecting a transfer caller ID, determining the channels per agent, and setting the restrict transfers feature. This article moves along the campaign settings page into "Preview Dialing Options."
Preview Dialing Options Section
In Campaigns Part 2, we covered the selection of campaign types: Predictive/Power or Preview. When preview is selected, the campaign settings page includes an additional settings section called "Preview Dialing Options." The following settings apply only to preview campaign types. If your campaign is a predictive/power type, you can skip to the next article - part 9.
Show Next Contact Button. When enabled, this feature displays the "Next Contact" button, which allows an agent to preview the next contact in the campaign without dialing immediately.
Show Dial Next Button. When enabled, this feature displays the "Next & Call" button, which allows an agent to retrieve and dial the next contact in the campaign. In the next section under "Advanced Settings," a Phone Number Field Preference may be selected as a preferred number to dial for when clicking "Next & Call."
Show Async Dial Next Button. When enabled, this feature displays the "Next & Async Call" button, which allows an agent to initiate a background call (outbound ringing cannot be heard) and simultaneously move on to the next contact in the campaign with a single click.
